What you will do

A useful diagnosis. Not another maturity score.

THE FINAL CHALLENGESynthetic scenario

Scenario · six months later

Would you repeat the campaign?

Your previous campaign produced strong results. The marketing lead who designed it has left. The dashboard survives, but the team is unsure which alternatives were considered, why the channel was chosen, or which assumptions have changed since.

A budget decision is due tomorrow. Which move would you make first?

Memory evidence snapshot

Seven self-reported dimensions. This does not assess your company objectively and does not compare it with anyone else.

What your team can reconstruct

Decision replay · what do the surviving records justify?
      • KNOWN

Results were recorded. The dashboard alone cannot establish what caused them.

      • INFERRED

The original strategy probably contributed; the alternatives that were weighed are not available.

      • MISSING

The original approval rationale, the assumptions that changed, and validation for the next budget.

Which of the three missing pieces would change your decision most? This is a synthetic exercise, not a claim about your company.

      Your scenario choice

Your answers live only in this page's memory while it is open. They are not sent, saved or compared with other companies, and they are gone when you close or reload the page. This is a self-assessment, not a certification or an audit.

      Method & privacy

Honest evidence is part of the experience.

A five-minute self-assessment should help you ask better questions. It must not look like an audit, a validated maturity model or a data integration that does not exist.

      How your answers are read

      • Traceable: you say the sources and the rationale can be retrieved and checked.
      • Partial: it could be reconstructed, but it depends on people or scattered documents.
      • Missing: there is no reliable way to reconstruct it.
      • Unknown: you cannot tell. It counts as a gap, like missing. Only when next moves are ordered does it weigh slightly less than missing.
      • Your headline: four or more areas missing or unknown gives «Too much decision context is hard to recover»; otherwise five or more traceable gives «A promising memory foundation»; anything else gives «Your team remembers some things».
      • Seven dimensions are shown one by one. There is no overall index and no ranking against other teams.

      How next moves are chosen

      • Fixed, published rules. The same answers always give the same result.
      • Moves come only from areas with a gap, weighted missing, then unknown, then partial.
      • At most three. With fewer gaps you get fewer moves, never advice on an area you marked traceable.
      • Equal areas are listed in question order, and the page says so.
      • If every area is traceable, you get recommended checks instead, labelled as such.

      Privacy

      • A static page: no account, no backend, no trackers, no cookies.
      • Your answers stay in this page's memory and are never sent anywhere.
      • The snapshot is created on your device as a text file.
      • The Private Alpha link opens a separate page and carries none of your answers.
      • No company name, files or real campaign data are asked for.

      What it is not

      • Not a comparison with other companies.
      • Not a validated measurement instrument: the wording is an early version, still being tested with marketers.
      • Not an analysis of your systems: nothing about your company is read.

      Why decision memory

Dashboards keep what happened. Teams lose why it was decided, what it rested on and what changed since. This challenge asks about the second part.
